Dimensions of brushes
« on: August 27, 2015, 11:46:34 AM »

Hi Guys,

I was after the exact dimensions of new brushes on an Agni 95r motor in a DS 2010 zero, I was wondering if anybody knew or could measure them for me.  Length of pig tail, width, length and thickness please.  I am in Australia and I can get brushes made but I don't have the proper dimensions.

you can measure the width and height from your existing brushes, and using photos from link can get approx length of brush and pigtail.

I don't really want to take the motor out again, just to measure them.  Jozztek, won't have them until the end of September and then they would have to come from the UK to Australia.  I can get a guy here to make them cheaper but I didn't measure them when I had them out.  I should have in hindsight.

Cheers,

Since my motor burned up again, I have taken it apart.  Just for future reference.  The brushes are 2 mm thick and 19 mm wide.  Length I am uncertain as there isn't much left.  Pigtails are 75 mm measured from the end of the connector to the base of the brush. I would estimate the original length to have been approx 25 to perhaps 30 mm... As I said, not sure on that one.
