Dual throttle tubes show in the video at 2 min and 30 secs.  Whats up with that?

The left throttle tube is for regen braking.  :D  Cool, but hard to get used to me thinks.  I hope i get to try it.

Got the answer here from a eKRAD rep (i think)...

This is such a sexy machine.  I love that it looks so different than the gas bikes.  The form looks purposeful rather than a retrofit.

I agree.  Hoping to see more on this bike.  It was mentioned in the advrider thread that the rear sprocket would be toast very quickly off road due to size.  Hopefully we see an enduro version with a more terrain proof setup.

I will be watching the net for more info...

I was at the fair in "Friedrichshafen" 2013 and the e-KRAD is still "alive". It is not a commercial product, but the guys have built their own motor now "it has ~50HP" and they race it as a Supermoto against ICE bikes.

It is awesome fast and they are well-placed in all races.

Maybe I can visit the guys once, they live in the city where I grew up.

It was a test ride in April 2012 using their self-build motor

Found this Video from "Motorradwelt Friedrichshafen 2013" where I saw the eKRAD. (Who is the fastest - eKRAD -- electric motobike vs 450cc)

Good stuff. Speed changes minds.

I'd love to see the eKRAD race a BRD bike.

Would be nice to see both bikes.

I have seen the eKRAD live the BRD only on video. What I can see the BRD was never doing a wheely only some stoppis?

I fear the BRD is not in the same category as the eKRAD but I do like the BRD Project too its a nice design!

BTW: it's funny eKRAD is a German bike and BRD a US  - but -   BRD is the Abbr. of (Bundesrepublik Deutschland == German Federal Republic) :)
