Was anyone able to get 12kW charging in US? Is this possible?

I haven't heard anyone getting a Charge Tank for their SR/F yet. That reddit post has some good information in it (in an insanely condescending, off-putting manner), so I'm not hopeful I'll ever be able to charge at 12kW in the US with aftermarket chargers or the Zero Charge Tank.

Tesla level 2 stations can deliver up to 80 amps. Add the heaviest duty Tesla tap and voila!

Related question for you many folks who are smarter than me: Is there any issue plugging an SR/F into a Tesla level two charger with a lower rated tesla tap adapter? I get that the Zero will only draw 3 or 6 kw depending on the build, but 16kw >> 3 or 6 kw and perhaps that might be dangerous?

Well, it's whether the adapter communicates correctly.
If it does, there's no problem - the onboard charger controls how much it draws, and it literally can't take more than it can.
If it doesn't, the adapter will provide the wrong voltage and burn out.
But something that only uses so much amperage will never just 'use too much' - it's sucking at a straw, not a fire hose. To make a terrible comparison, voltage is the water pressure, amperage is the reservoir.

There's no issue, the bike can only draw what it is designed to draw, the 3KW on the standard or 6KW premium.
You can supply it with a billion amp source and the bike will still only draw the 3 or 6 KW. The Tesla Taps are rated in their max current capacity and they don't care about being used well below that. So any Tesla Tap will work on a Zero SR/F as 240 VAC times 25 amps is 6KW, so a Tesla Tap rated at 25 Amps will still do the full 6KW and I don't think they even make a Tesla Tap that low of capacity.
Current draw and the max current available from the source are two very different things, but both are rated in amps. IOW, you always want to source to be able to handle more current than the load. A billion times more is fine.
