Since last October I was able to get my DS back on the road. I did remove the battery box and replaced all electronics within the box.  I used an Amorge 72v Battery 56ah 390a battery, Alltrax SR72500 Controller, Sevcon stepdown,  I was able to get the instrument panel all working except the battery gauge which I installed one on the bars along with a temp gauge.  Over 1400 miles and still going strong. It can get up to 76mph running at 260a.  I did upgrade the brushes to the new version by Agni motors.

I revived a 2010 zero with 499 miles I got for free but didnt keep any of the battery box and electronics besides the dash.  I now can travel at 80mph and runs great.  Went with a 72v 56ah Amorge battery, Alltrax SR72500 controller, contactor and wired it all up.  Placed new street tires on it. I did have to drive 10hrs to pick mine up. LOL

Thank you very much!! I looked but couldn't find anything.  I will check this out this weekend.

I just barely got it revived. It has sat since 2013 in the garage. I don't know anything about shocks lol. They rebound a little bit but I could still pull up on the bars and they come up

I have a 2010 Zero with less than 700 miles and the forks are shot. No rebound hardly when pressed down.  I would like to find a replacement set that will bolt on.  The ones that are on it now are Fastace ALX02RC.  How would I go about looking for the forks that will replace this set without breaking the bank. I only use this bike to ride back and forth to work.

Thank you

Got my bike back on the road with new technology battery, controller.  Went 72v and she is good to go. Took it to work and back which was 14miles round trip at 50-65mph and got home with 70% battery left. Going to be saving me some gas money now.

That looks real interesting.  Let us know how it all works out once you've had time to play around with it.
Aaron

Will do

I was able to get everything to work on the gauges except the battery level. Added a temp gauge and ran it all through the OEM wire harness.

I went 74t per Agni Motor specs so the motor doesn't heat up on a 72v system.  I also purchased a new chain 132 link but will need to remove one link for it to adjust correctly.

Why don't you scrap that Zero battery box, controller and charger and go all aftermarket?

Anyone know who I can get a rear sprocket from that is bigger than the OEM?

Did you get this sorted out? Since there is no support for the older bikes I chose to scrap the oem bms and mbb (whatever that is) and go with proven aftermarket parts that have diagrams and support. I can give a list if needed.

I know this is an old post but I scrapped the whole inside of the battery box and just have one issue. How do you get the battery level to work on the instrument panel?

Thank you

Hello Guys

I wanted to know if anyone can tell me what the wire goes to on the dash gauge in this pic?  Also, if anyone knows how I can get the male end of this harness plug.

Thank you
