I bought a 2018 Zero FX yesterday and did not check the brake lights before I brought it 2 hours home. I tried the foot brake and hand brake and neither operate the brake light. The running light is on however. Any ideas? Thanks!

Bad brake light filament? Did you try changing the bulb? Also, check and clean the contacts.

Hey way to go on the FX. Likely a bad bulb or loose connection. You can pull the seat and see the connectors at the rear. Well at least on a DS, sorry never took down a FX. But if the headlight is good and the turn signals it isn't the DC-DC converter, so that's good.

Thanks all, will take the bulb out soon and see if it's just burnt.
*edit* the bulb filaments seemed fine but I just replaced it anyway, now the brake lights work! Thanks all.
