Buy Sell Trade / SOLD: 2015 Zero SR 12.5

Putting my 2015 SR up for sale.  It has under 9k miles.  I normally ask 1/2 of new (what I bought it for) but I am not seeing any comparable bikes advertised.  Have any of these changed hands lately?  What is reasonable market for average condition?

Anyone tried these guy's Carbon/Ceramic brakes?  Even the newest brakes on my SR really kinda stink.  Perhaps I've just been spoiled by Liter class bikes that, even at 400 lbs, can really stop.

I love the looks of the RedShift but am concerned about the learning curve that all manufacturers go through.  The sane side of me says buy an FX while the boy in me craves the RedShift.  Would love to hear impressions of the two experienced on the same day.

Mission Motors / Mission Deliveries

It is March of 2015.  The last time Mission provided guidance on delivering, they indicated "Summer" of 2015.  Given the cost, I am certain they would give customers a few months heads up on deliveries.  Has anyone heard anything?????

I was driving my 2015 SR today with range on one display and W Hr / mile on the other.  I was averaging around 100 W Hr / mile and noticed my range mirrored my % remaining capacity.

If the display are accurate, there seems to be 10 KW Hr of useful battery in Zero's 12.1 KW Hr battery.  Does this sound consistent with other's experience?  Does Zero really charge to less than 100% and discharge to way more than zero for safety?  Giving up 2.1 KW Hr of a 12. KW Hr battery sure seems like a lot of insurance.

I just got my 2015 SR and absolutely love it.  The change in suspension makes the bike feel rock sold with that sense of quality that you get from a great bike.  The brakes have very good feel (still bedding so no power info yet).  The move to a -6 controller is wonderful as well although others have already commented on this.

Overall, the upgrade for me was well worth it and the bike represents a nice step forward for Zero.

Any updates available for public consumption?

I see the web page has DC charging.  What is that and how are you doing it?

How is the display and Mission OS coming along?

Are you receiving any bits or otherwise qualifying vendors?

I'm not looking for anything top secret here, just what you can release to the public.

In looking over your press I saw a screen shot of your old pricing.  One thing that needs to be pointed out is that the price has not changed and yet the tech package is included.  That would seem to be a $2750 reduction.  In addition, you are now wrapping the charge function into the controller/motor which provides better charge performance than the old twin charger without the weight and cost.  That makes for another $1200 reduction.

Hows about posting the change list for your updates here.....
