@MC24 (http://twitter.com/mc24) reported the following on twitter...
Quantya launches 55 hp electric sportsbike this fall. Sadly no pics, but maybe one of the Quantya-twits can help? http://tinyurl.com/qysn8q
@skadamo that's what i'm told. eicma show, street legal, 40 nm, 130 kg, 160 kph, 140 km range. in shops next spring. 20-25 k euro.
Google says: 25 000 Euros = 33 982.5 U.S. dollars
Wow, that is quite a bit of cash.
Translation from the article...
On el-bilkonferansen EVS24 in Stavanger reveals Quantya to MC24 that they will show a similar bike on Eicma in the fall.

55 HP trumps Zeros projected 31 HP for the Zero SS.
Now 40 NM = 29.5 lb-ft of torque. http://www.asknumbers.com/TorqueConversion.aspx Is that right?
The Zero SS is said to have 62.5 lb-ft of torque.

It is cool how different these competing bikes are.

Update: ON24 told me
it says todays strada is 150 at the back wheel. the new one 300.
He is talking NM torque.
The current Strada has 23 lb-ft so I assume the sport bike will have double... 46 lb-ft
