I installed EBC pads on my 2018 Zero S and have been very happy with them. Their "HH" pads have plenty of power and don't make a squeal when coming to a stop.  :) I won't mention exactly which model EBC pad that I bought because the S calipers might be different than the DS caliper on your bike. I am sure someone else here will have that information, or you can "Google" it.  However, any DOT 4 brake fluid will work fine in your bike. I would buy a bottle from your local auto accessory store. You can get a name brand "synthetic" (whatever that means) brake fluid at the auto store for less than you can buy a similar product geared to motorcycles from a motorcycle accessory store - if you can find one that is still open to the public.  ::) To the best of my knowledge all DOT 4 brake fluids are pretty much all the same and meet the same specifications. Only their prices are different.

As Richard230 said and also from my knowlege the DOT 4 brake fluids are all the same, they all meet the same specifications.
For the pads it depends on the use you want to make with your bike. They are made with different materials according to the specific use (offroad, street, rain, racetrack), the choice is only yours. Go for a good brand and you are done (I personally prefer Brembo pads).

Yes, I'll second Richard's recommendation for pads.... I've used the EBC HH pads front and rear for ~60k miles on my '16 DS and like them a lot!

On my 16DSR I’m using EBC HH pads.
Front=FA209/2HH
Rear=FA213HH
Don’t know if yours are the same.

I believe that HH pads are more aggressive (wear) then stock but should also improve stoping power (don’t quote me on either of those statements).

One additional question... do you know the material of the original dsr 2020+ brake pads? I would like to use something with more brake power but I am worried about the noise and rotor wear with sintered pads.

Thanks!

DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 should be interchangable, the difference is the boiling point in favor of 5.1

Just be sure that you don't pick up DOT 5 by mistake. That silicone goo will ruin your braking components. Whomever came up the DOT 5 designation as used in Harley brake systems at one time (do they still use it?) ought to be soaked in the stuff.

I have finally replaced the brake pads. They were at 30% but I wanted to try something new to stop the noises when braking xD

After removal of the original ones I noticed they were HH (sintered) pads (by taking a look at the sticker). However I thought they were organic so I had bought semi-sintered pads.

Replacing is easy, but you need to push pistons back in, and to do so you need to open the liquid reservoirs. Be careful!! if you push them too much you will lose liquid, it is cheap but corrosive! I had this problem only with the front one (it was full) but a fast washing of the entire bike with lot of water solved the problem.

They are much quieter than the original ones but I have maybe lost some breaking power (not fully tested them yet so pads not 100% ready).

P.D: They came in orange casing... very ugly colour! xD

Cheers!
