This weekend is the TTXP / FIM eRoadRacing World Cup Race at Indy. Who's going?
I know Jeremiah Johnson will be there racing along with Ted Rich and a host of everyone's favorite electric racers.
I'm heading down there after work on Friday with the ICE bike.
Schedule:
Saturday:
5 pm - 5:20 pm - FIM eRoadRacing World Cup Qualifying - Track
Sunday:
4:30 pm - FIM eRoadRacing World Cup Race (8 Laps) - Track

Also, my wife and I are heading down south on the ICE bike afterwards, if anyone is near the route, let me know and we can meetup!

I'll be there Sunday! Stoked.
I will have my two boys. Just turned 5 and 7. :-O so I won't be too mobile and will be very distracted watching them. But it will be good to give the some moto culture early. ;)
I'm hoping I can walk the pits like the Ttxgp races I've been to. Anyone know if that is possible at Indy? I think you can. The garage doors open on two sides if I remember correctly. Teams can open both.
Hope to see you there Travis. Let's try to meet up at some point. It would be cool to shake hands with any other forum members that go to Indy so maybe we could arrange a quick meetup if we had enough folks.

Nice! I just got a pass for qualifying on Saturday and a day pass for Sunday, along with a camping permit I believe. I didn't get the whole weekend pass myself.

I'm headed down to Nashville after the race Sunday too. If we're leaving at the same time, we could probably meet back up for dinner somewhere along the route.
We'll have a bunch of EV bike folks there, if we consolidate the forums. Maybe we should try for a larger meetup?

Barring any better ideas, the tentative plan is to meet up by the water tower in lot 3g (the grass camping lot) at 7:30 for a pow-wow. I'd love it if someone had a better idea for a bar or other establishment to meet up at.

The race was an absolute hoot and a big crowd pleaser (those that stayed). Very impressed and can't wait to book a track day for my '12 DS.
