Title: Electrical connectors in DSR Black Forest 2018
Post by: davidrnewman on December 15, 2019, 06:19:02 AM
I am looking for a place to get a 12V supply for heated gloves on my DSR Black Forest. I have found two connectors under the seat (not under the charge tank). See the attached photos.

Does anyone recognise them? What do they do? Could I find a 12V AUX connection there? And what kind of connector do I need to buy?

First one is the OBD2 and the other is the BMS, I think.  The 12V connector it's not under the seat.

Isn't there a free one under the tank?

Should be just behind the fork up underneath.

Unless they changed it for the charge tank this should cover it.

The charge tank is the problem. Getting it off is hard. I cannot turn my Allen key.

I looked up OBD2. Understood.

But when I looked up BMS in zeromanual.com it is the battery management system under the tank, not a connector behind the tank and in front of the 12V DC converter. So what is in the second and third photos?

I can reach mine in front of the tank from underneath, but if it's yucked properly you probably won't see it.

All the photos are up by the forks, the last two on the page are from above with the tank off.
