Would that be Filipacchi in Manhattan?
Hudson Valley Motorcycles - Filipacchi’s schtick is electric mobility so I think they’re fine to keep going with Energica.

Currently they only carry Zero and Energica.  All of the "Electric Mobility" stuff they used to carry is long gone.
Oh wow. Given their downtown location I always thought the electric mobility angle made sense. But who the heck are they targeting with just Zero and Energica? Odd move I think.

Interest in Electric bikes here in the US just isn’t that strong. In fact, my local Energica dealer informed me that they are winding down sales of the brand. As a result, they’re not interested in buying it back.

All good - I'm just hanging on to it unless someone wants to take it off my hands. If this ad is still here, it's still for sale. Price has gone down over time but this is the bottom floor - it's worth more to me as an extra bike to have than it is to let it go for less.

Still got this and didn't use it at all last season. It's just taking up space now so if anyone's interested, hit me up. I was going to trade it in for a Triumph, but the local dealers aren't interested in an Electric trade-in.

Just as an FYI - I'm 5'6" with a 30 inch inseam. While I can't flatfoot the Energica, I do just fine with my riding boots. The low speed forward/reverse modes are perfect to do tight maneuvers without having the ability to fully flatfoot.

That said, I won't kid around - this is a BEAST of a bike. I'd be more worried about someone who can't appreciate the respect necessary for a bike with so much on-demand torque than someone who has to tippy toe or one-foot it. The rider modes help to tone it down, but let's be honest - nobody wants to ride in Rain or Eco mode all day long ;)

No interest at all? If it's the price, hit me up - I'm motivated to sell.

Energica / Re: Charge an Energica on a Tesla charger

The last I checked, the Energica, unless they made it better with the experia, the MAX you will EVER get out of an AC charge is 15 amps period.  If you want more Amps / kw then you need to dc charge.  Oddly enough, even though i have it set to 15 amps,I rarely see it his 12 amps if i am charging 120 volt or maybe 13 amps at 240, so even then it's not hitting it's max.

Yeah the Energica's on-board charger maxes out at 3KW so that's around 12.5 Amps.

@Plug-n-Play - the Hansshow is rated at 80A so I was hoping I could count on at least 20A which would be enough for max speed on Energica AC charging but haven't gotten that far in the process. From looking at the adapter and my home EVSE its hard to see where the manufacturing defect is but it just doesnt fit well and I sure am not going to force it.

The VACHAN I had was also 80A but upon further research it seems that it's not fully compatible with the Gen 2 version of the Tesla Wall Connector, which is what I have. That was most likely the problem I had with it. Otherwise, the VACHAN looked to be pretty decent quality, and I'd say it was comparable in fit/finish to the TeslaTap Mini that replaced it. https://www.amazon.com/VACHAN-Compatible-Connector-Connectors-Destination/dp/B0BTMPRYQ6/

I've used a TeslaTap Mini 60 on Tesla destination chargers/wall connectors and I've used the Tesla Magic Dock at Superchargers that are equipped with the CCS adapter.

For an old school Tesla Supercharger, there's no way to make it work with anything but a Tesla as there's a two-way handshake that needs to occur between the unit and the vehicle to establish account authorization and whatnot.

By the way, I've tried one of those TeslaTap Mini knockoffs (VACHAN) available on Amazon and for whatever reason, it would only charge at a lower rate, so while it was considerably cheaper than the TeslaTap Mini, it wasn't worth it in the end.

I'll point this out to my club (The Nassau Wings, based in Nassau County).  Where are you located?
Thanks - I'm just over the county line in the Town of Huntington.

* NO LONGER FOR SALE *

Decided it wasn't worth it to sell at this point - just keeping it and will throw it on Twisted Road or something to earn some extra cash when I'm not using it, and it's there for me whenever I want to hop on it.

Thanks all!

I received my '22 MY Ribelle in July of '21 and was probably one of the last deliveries of the previous gen motor.

Energica / Re: Home Delivery
« on: October 04, 2022, 10:28:03 PM »
Mine was sent directly to my residence but it was basically set up by Energica to go to a dealer an hour and a half away, they did all the prep, registration, and delivery. It went pretty smoothly but I suspect you're looking for a transaction that doesn't involve a dealer at all?
