That's a good idea, but this information just add to the idea of Brammo being in financial difficulty.

Not really. Companies are always looking expanding, and getting loans from banks is too expensive. Putting out stock is the traditional way of bringing in cash. But since Brammo is not public traded, we do not know how they are doing financially, but getting money from crowd-sourcing does not mean anything.

It may not mean anything, but I am still trying to get my head around the reason that Brammo dropped their prices so much on all of their products.  My sources tell me that their entire 2013 and 2014 stock is entirely sold out.  Now what?   ???

For my 2 cents, I think it was a good business decision for Brammo to clear out old inventory and it is good that buyers snatched them up.

Selling a year old or a 2 year old electric bike is akin to selling a 2 year old computer.    All of the buyers want the new model.

The latest deal is that if you invest $200K in Brammo they will give you a free Empulse:

http://www.crowdsourcing.org/article/brammo-offers-free-motorcycles-as-it-turns-to-crowdsourcing-to-raise-3m/34057

I am surprised that Brammo has any product left after their recent big reduction in prices.  ???
