Some of us Energica owners are on a facebook group as well...

Currently talking about cleaning up the tails on our bikes..

Amazing folks at Energica helped organize a informal meetup in Austin at the GP and it was a blast.  Thank you

Great to meet the other owners and see the Moto-E bike in person.  We'll have to find a excuse to get together next year..  Rumor is some Eva owner offered to prove he can cook "proper" BBQ at his place..  :)

3D printed a license plate holder, LED turn signals (and plate lights) directly embedded into the license plate holder, and removed the rear foot pegs

Now to figure out the front turn signals...

Looks almost as good as the GP E bikes...

What a great idea!  Eva is addictive...  I rode it around at one point and I could not get the grin off my face... :)

(Below is my EGO, the sister of the Eva)

I gave state farm the CC Equiv (600), the VIN, and the cost and they seemed to just deal with it.

I have not made a claim yet so we will see how that all works out.  :)    It is cheaper to insure than my R1 which surprised me

yeah, first bike was totaled by the shipping company in route.  The shipping company dropped the box off the truck and still refuses to admit it.  Luckily,  I had a separate policy in case of something like this. The replacement bike is effectively the one below.

Any thoughts of modifications will happen in the spring, to be honest.  the first focus is some kind of tail tidy and security system.  Also need to properly set up the suspension.

Last time I was at the Sweeney location,   you were able to do demo rides and this was where you picked up your bike after purchase.  My bike is there now

I think I know what state the next official store/service-center will be but since it isn't official, i'll keep my mouth shut.  :)

Damn.. I found the tax code and confirmed this expires.  Ugg

would love love love to get one but they're not quite in my tax bracket. I'll stick w riding my ~$14K 2016 SR (after incentives/tax breaks) and keep smiling like I just won the super lotto the day after I won the Isle of Man TT w the wife of the Marine pseudo-terrorist from 'Homeland' rubbing my sore back

Wow, gonna take me a while to process that. :)

30 years on a ICE bike and there is something fresh about electrics..

(A few other bikes as well)

I don't know what they are showing at CES in particular.

The December issue of the San Francisco free publication, Shitty Bike, contains a (confusing and cryptic to me) Energica ad on page 5 stating: "Don't miss the date!", "CES 2017, Jan 5-8, 3D Printing Area, Sands Expo Level 2 Halls A-D Booth 42909". It shows an Evo leaned over into a corner in a picture included with the ad.  (Naturally, I have no idea what CES" is, what the ad is trying tell me, or where the Sands Expo is located.)  ???

The bike is really rock solid.. worth taking a look at.  You should take a train in and go talk to them.

I have a bunch of pictures as well if you just want to see the bike or know more.   I can probably answer any questions

so I got this chintzy thing at Radio Shack, jerry-rigged it to my electric vest, with some help from Frank Caridi, and had to jerry-rig it myself again. Then that connection broke when I accidentally pulled on it.

Now when I connect the wires correctly, I get nothing.
Did I short it out because it was on when I pulled it apart?
Did I short out my electric vest?
Should I just keep replacing these or do any of you know of a better product to connect an electric vest?

I gotta fix it this weekend so I don't die of freezation riding to work! It's been so cold here, like almost 50!
 :P

thanks!!!
What bike?
