No dealers for Brammo in Canada, I doubt they're been vetted by Transport Canada...

I got the numbers for the Zero registrations in Quebec, Canada for 2013.

Here they are:

Zero S:
up to 31dec 2012: 2
up to   Sept 2013: 8
Sale un 2013: 6

Zero DS:
up to 31dec 2012: 3
up to   Sept 2013: 6
Sale un 2013: 3

Zero XU:
up to 31dec 2012: 2
up to   Sept 2013: 3
Sale un 2013: 1

You will probably have to add 1 to Zero S sales in 2013 soon, I just sold my ICE bike.

Considering the cost of taking on a new franchise, potential hassles with a new technology that they are not familiar with, training a technician to understand and work on the bikes, being unsure of Zero's parts and service support and not knowing what the future market of Zeros (and any electric motorcycle) will be, I can imagine that with those sales numbers Zero is going to have a very tough time convincing Canadian dealers to sell their bikes.   :(

I agree with that.

But i still think Zero must make effort for availability of their product here.

99% of our electricity is clean ( hydro). People are alot interested in that technology. We  also develop EV motor ( TM4) and battery ( Bathium) and charge stations ( addenergy).

Out of all Canadian province  here in Quebec we are the province where we have the most electric vehcule per population!

btw, Zero have no presence schedule yet at the Montreal moto show in feb 2014... I spoke to Glenn  about that to get Zero to have a boot and some demo at least...

let's see how Zero will take care of that..

I am told there was no Zero presence at the motorcycle show in San Mateo (Zero's backyard) last weekend.  The website says Zero is at the show in "select locations", so my information could be wrong, or they could have chosen to not go to the show in the highest concentration of early adopters in the country.  Let's hope noone thought the latter was a good idea.

Guess I'm going to have to sell this thing myself.  I pulled up next to a cyclist at a light yesterday and asked him if he'd seen my pedals.  That's a sale for sure.  (;

It's a few more years away but if they can get a presidential candidate to call them a "loser", they'll be in good shape.

I was at the San Mateo show last weekend.  Zero was not.  My guess is that they will be a the LA and NY shows.

Hey guys,don't feel bad. I live in Bradford Ontario and my closest dealer is 2 1/2 hours away!! Also,the Ontario dealers listed on zero website mostly don't have any actual zeros on their website...just a link to the zero site!! I contacted zero and got a dealership package and it takes a lot to become a dealer.

What dealer is that?  Monroe Motors?  Mission Motorcycles in Daly City seems to be going strong. Whenever I visit the shop the sales staff is quite willing to talk about Zeros and they have several on the showroom floor in a prominent location. I was planning to visit them on Tuesday and put a deposit down on a 2014 S.

Munroe used to sell Zeros too.

Well if you include them that's a 66.6% drop in dealers in the Bay Area.

It sounds like you grew up with Mission so you are used to their philistine ways.

I mean just look at their first gen website and their biker bar showroom.

I wish Zero could find a more youthful, modern dealer that knows and appreciates the product by giving some proper space on the showroom floor. Not just packed in there like a bunch os sardines.

For more discriminating/sophisticated buyers that place is a real turn off.

You should have seen the Hap Jones/Dave Golden BMW/BSA/Tohatu/Vespa showroom on Valencia Street, near Market, in San Francisco, where I bought my first two-wheel vehicle, a 1962 Vespa 125 motor scooter.  Dark, dank, and with goon-type salesmen.   ::)  The Mission Motorcycle showroom is better.  I hear they have been trying to find a larger building in which to operate for some time without any success.  I think the reason that they haven't made any improvements to the place is that they are just leasing the facility and don't want to make any investments to a building that they would like to move out of.  I don't spend any time visiting their website, I would rather go there in person and talk to a real human.

Ahh the good load days, 1962 is a little before my time.

Good to hear Mission is trying to find a better place.
