Hi Guys
throttle option on repairing 5k pot in these units, Looks like I lost some variability in mine. I only have small range of movment on my 2011 xu that act on changing power level lots of dead spots. Is there a good source of parts for this unit and hows the best way to disassemble it? has anyone had luck with this?

I took the throttle apart today this is the unit that causes all the fuss, a $2 pot.... Well no number on it but still on the hunt to find a replacement 5K pot.
So clean it up with some contact cleaner and soak it Corrosion X seem to work for now.
Cheers Jerry

My experience, buy the highest quality pot you can find or you will be replacing it about every other year. I found a German made unit has lasted the longest. Going on 5 years now.

Any numbers on it? Where have you purchased it from?

Yeah ditto that on a part number or make; I've already replaced the throttle once and can feel that the pot is wearing on most commonly used face, would live to rebuild with a superior unit
