hey antoine,
thank you for your post. I have the same issue with my SR "15. After firmware rev. mbb 51/bms39 in September
2017 a significant range drop and only 8 kwh capacity at full charge on the zero app.
I did not believe that and did the test to drive my bike until 1 or 2% soc. Got the expected range in sport mode
something about 165 km. After recharge i had 100%, 11,6 kwh and an estimated range of 175 km.
So everything was fine.
After a few charging cycles the problems came back. The estimate range and indicated capacity after charging
dropped again.
Also the soc during driving the bike drops quicker than i was used to before this issues.
The only parameter i noticed i could rely on was the volt indicated on the app which always correlated with range
/soc i would expect.
In november i had another update to 52 /40 and hoped to fix the issues without success.

I`m happy for you getting your bike back and hope your issue is fixed. Anyhow please keep us informed.

see you        Peter

Hey FirstZeroFinland,
error code 0017 means charger failure. I had that on my Zero too. My onboard charger had to be
replaced under warranty.

Hello Wijnand71,
thank you very much for your answer. It´s a great help for me so now I can go on building up my
5,3 kw charging solution. For the moment I think its powerful enough for me.
The quad charger you build and posted is a real hot thing I like it.
see you  Peter

hello Remmie,
i´m new in this forum and I want to use a pack of two FP 2000 HE´s to charge my bike. I have a question to you
about the protection of the FP´s. The schottky diodes placed on each PCB board shall protect the single FP from
voltage peaks in case they are not syncron yet, right ?
How is the pack protected in the case one of the two is failing and the 115 volts come back ? I ask this because
the FP 2000 HE have no internal O-ring protection following the data sheet. Could this be a problem or danger ?
thank you very much and bye  Peter

Hey mostlybonkers,
thank you for the welcome. Read about your trouble to get a new wheel for your bike.
Hope you get it back on the road soon.     P.

Hello to all,
I'm Peter and new in this forum.I drive a SR '15 for a little over a year. I live in the southwest of Germany between Karlsruhe and Stuttgart and I am 55 years old. I quit motorcycling about 25 years ago. I commuted for years to work by bicycle, e-bike and e-velomobile, those 3-wheeled closed recumbent bikes.
Then I was looking for a more comfortable and quicker vehicle so I had a look on e-scooters. In the shop I saw a zeromotorcycle the first time. Mmmh interresting a real full motorcycle. Dealer said have a try. I did.
I was fixed at once. The acceleration,no shifting, this other beautiful electric sound, 180kg,beltdrive ect.ect
but whom do I tell it.
I love driving my bike daily the whole year for now 11500km and dont wanna miss it.

thats for the moment from me see you  Peter

Hey guys,
:)iam new in the forum but was reading your threads with interrest for a while. At this point thank for sharing your
knowledge and skills with us other users.
I like the idea of charging faster and decided to build up a pack of 2 FP2 HE .
At the moment have nearly the whole stuff i need to start but now I have some further questions I hope you can help me.
The schottky diodes Remmie placed across the DC output to protect reverse current dont they get hot under power and do they have to be cooled? If yes did Remmie solved this by placing them into the housing /against the housing and into the stream of the internal fan? Do I have an option to place them without opening the housing perhaps on the pcb board?

   thank you and enjoy sunday
