Flying motorcycles
« on: September 22, 2017, 03:52:04 AM »

On the TV news last night a fellow (whose name I can't recall) was saying that his company is currently developing a flying motorcycle and expects to have it on the market in a couple of years.  A prototype was shown and it looks to be electric-powered, with fans at the front and rear of a relative wide chassis.  Kind of like a drone with a seat in the middle.  Looks a little dangerous to me, but likely fun - until the FAA, liability lawyers, politicians and the usual safety hand-wringers hear about it.  ::)

The flying prototype that I saw on the news video looked very much like the Kittyhawk.  But I don't recall that name being mentioned.  ???
