This was just released in my hometown.  I'm not sure who would buy it for that price, especially over an FXS.  It's only redeeming value that *I* can surmise is removable batteries and a very low weight.  Whatcha think?  The only interesting model is the BLK version and that is priced way too high.  :o

If I wanted to buy an overpriced cool looking bike (but still cheaper than those), it would be a boutique 250cc like the Janus.  And I won't pay for that either.

At least I'd rather own a Janus.  I can't say I'd want the Falcon, even if it was $5K

They do know about the massive insatbility of rotating disc wheel on the front of a caster steering motorcycle ( or bicycle) right???????? Hmmmm giant frisbee on a pivot.
Another single pivot rear suspension. All the R&D goes into the motive power and not much into the handling again.

Any way to carry cargo, for one. A built in rear carrier with bungee hooks would probably add $12 to the cost (not price), to either strap a tail bag onto, or saddlebags. 
No fenders to avoid splashing from the wheels.
No chain guard, which is a legal requirement in at least some European countries and IIRC Canada as well (not to mention absolutely stupid to ride without one from a safety perspective)

Another "motorcycle" clearly designed by someone who doesn't actually ride on a daily basis without a car as backup.

(and no, I don't think they're going to sell many of the $8K model either.)

You should mention those things to them.  'Not because we care about the company, but for the unfortunate souls who buy one.

Those 'solid' wheels on a lightweight bike will cause problems with a gust of wind.

Well, I like it, though it is expensive. Looks like they could sell it as a kit, which might lower the price significantly.

If they could make a "takedown" version (to use a gun metaphor), where you can remove the wheels, battery and such easily, it might make it more interesting.  A completely minimalistic motorcycle that one could throw into the back of a SUV without needing a trailer or hitch carrier would be kinda cool.

And of course, cut the price in half.

Why not an electric bicycle? useful for getting around locally in a wilderness area, state/national park etc. There are folding models, so the car doesn't have to be an SUV.
Especially in the US where e-bicycles can have 750W or 1000W motors, that seems to be a pretty good solution.

Agreed.  Bicycles, electric bicycles (and probably mopeds) already exist in this segment, but something that goes 50mph+ legally on the road does not.  Just thinking outside the box.

Basically what I'm saying is outside of that special circumstance, I don't see much of a valid reason for anyone to spend $14K on such a specimen.
