Haven't been here for years (just checked my icon...)
Dealer confirmed bug in latest firmware for SR-F/S (firmware with preparation for Cypher store)

If you connect the app it will downtune your bike to the 2022SR specs.
So less power/torque/topspeed.
Most already noticed it by seeing the 108mph cap instead of 127mph, or just noticing the overall performance loss.
There should be a fix (for the app?!) coming soon.
Any1 else more informed about this?

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Real life consumption

For my Zero DS 2013 12,5kW with handprotectors, standard Zero screen and Zero bags and Zero Givi topcase.
I'm 1,83 m (72 inch) and 85 kg (187lbs).

So with 12,5kW battery:

50 km/h (31 mi/h)
1kW = 20    km (12,4 mi)
1V    =   9,2 km (   5,7 mi)
1%    =   2,2 km (   1,4 mi)

80 km/h (50 mi/h)
1kW = 14,5 km (   9    mi)
1V    =    6,7 km (  4,1 mi)
1%    =    1,6 km (  1    mi)

100 km/h (62 mi/h)
1kW =  10    km (  6,2 mi)
1V    =    4,6 km (  2,8 mi)
1%    =    1,1 km (  0,7 mi)

120 km/h (75 mi/h)
1kW =    7,3 km (  4,5 mi)
1V    =    3,3 km (  2,1 mi)
1%    =    0,8 km (  0,5 mi)

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Technical: belt, spare belt, remove rear

Today I added a spare belt.
So when the current snaps, I can replace it myself on the spot.

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Powertank, bigger battery or nothing?
« on: October 03, 2018, 03:00:55 PM »
So, what is possible?

Current:
* DS 2013 (still happy about it, no need for new)
* 12,5kW battery (upgraded harnas 100A fuse)
* windshield

Problem:
* almost empty 1 way commute (charge 8 hours at work & home <Diginow in 2 weeks I hope....>)

Prefer solution:
* more range
* $$$$

Options:
* powertank integration with 12,5kW battery?  (I will make it fit, but electronical possible?)
* bigger battery (14,4kW) instead of 12,5kW? (but waste of 12,5kW battery?)
* don't waste money and live with it untill buying a new model in x-years?

Any1 tried upgrading/adapt and it worked?

So, Currently I have 2 ways of charging my Zero <in Europe, so no J-plugs>:

* standard socket Zero (1,3kW charging) to Suko                      - HOME charging (3,7kW available without other consumers)
* standard socket Zero (1,3kW charging) to Mennekes type 2     - public charging (2-16kW available, mostly 11kW)

Clear, it works.
But now, I go for 6,6kW fast charging Diginow instead of standard 1,3kW charger (in bellypan).

For Europe Diginow will supply Mennekes Type 2 (female?).
Our public chargers are Mennekes (female, so no pistol, we have to bring it with us)

<< public chargers >16kW will have pistols themselves, but don't know if Diginow can communicate with it? Normal Zero 6,6kW charge tank doesn't I believe from forums??  >>

Wich 2 kabels are needed now for home and public?
There are 1 fase, 3 fase, 16A, 32A -> all are really costly:  >300 euro for both at least....

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Worldwide sales figures Zero
« on: July 20, 2018, 01:19:08 PM »
Like to know numbers:
• Zero's sold in each country
• Zero's sold in every year
• Zero models

Would be interesting to see if there is small or huge increase.  ???  :o

So, I'm a happy driver with a 2013DS with over 32000km wich I did >10000km on.
Am I a lucky Zero driver or is it normal?
