Title: We're on Zero's new website!!!
Post by: benswing on February 05, 2013, 07:08:53 PM
If you haven't already checked it out, here are some customer experience videos starring members of this board!  I think they did a great job editing the videos.

Also, if the connection between your username on this board and your video isn't apparent, feel free to identify yourself in this thread.  I'm the Bear Mountain guy.

You can probably guess which one is mine.  I don't know about you, but watching myself on screen makes me cringe.  I agree that the production company did a great job of editing over two hours of video down to only two minutes (don't want to stretch anyone's attention span   ;D ).

Yeah, I'm on the second page, titled: "The Advantages of Electric Power - 2013 Launch Party".

That was a great evening and I'll stand behind every word I said in the video! 8)

... And I'd be that cross-eyed bugger you see in the email that came out from Zero. (bob p.) I'm the first video you see when you land at the /customer page. It was fun watching all the videos this morning guys (and gal). Such a great product.

May be obvious which one I am. (Hint: female) :)

I didn't get a chance to go out and about with the camera And the one time I wasn't in a hurry to get to work, it was garbage day.  Terribly camera shy so I sent them voice-over with some footage.

You guys did awesome!

Great job everyone. If I was on the fence about buying a Zero, these videos would sell me.

I wanted to see a video of Trikesters dirt hill climbs.  I bet he didn't have a helmet cam on when he did that though.

I haven't purchased one of those cameras yet but I'm thinking more seriously about that all the time. Of course the video that was shown was taken by Zero at the 2013 launch party. The most physical action there was downing free tacos and margaritas. Olay!  ;D

BTW - I think the most interesting action video I could have made recently was when I was lowering the bike down the Jojoba Wash Drop-off. This is a nasty very steep sand hill all torn up by jeeps climbing it or attempting to climb it. To complicate matters it has a vertical rock ledge at the top. I knew from the start of my ride that I would walk the bike down it. As I was lowering the front wheel over the rock ledge my feet slipped and I barely managed to catch my balance and hold on to the bike while keeping it upright. Had I lost my grip I probably would have watched it go all the way to the bottom (about 100 feet) and crash in a heap. That scene flashed through my mind as I got the bike stabilized with the front wheel at the bottom of the rock ledge. :)
