Has anyone opened a Zero Motorcycles "MONOLITH", one of the 2013-2016 8.5-13kWh batteries? Very curious the layout and wiring. Would like to see any images. I found a wrecked 2013 DS in Boston and have several projects in mind. Wondering if I can separate out the 3-4 "BRICKS". There's frame damage, forks are trashed, but the battery look undamaged and the bike is apparently turning on. Appreciate the collective wisdom of the forum.

I don't know if this link works but it's at livestream under Zero Motorcycles of course and watch the factory tour video, or all five of them for that matter. you get an idea of the battery.

If you do buy it and decide to part it out I'm interested in pegs and handlebars and maybe a few other things

Here's a diagram of the 2016 monolith.

I don't know if Zero has ever posted the internals of their brick battery; it might be shown in one of the Zero livestreams. Each FX module and the "Power Tank" module consists of a single 28-cell battery brick and associated electronics, BMS etc. The S monolith is 3-4 battery bricks and associated electronics, single BMS, etc.

At about 24 minutes Zero shows a slide showing a similar diagram for the cell box. It's unfortunately very low quality, but you can see that the cell box is mounted with the cells in a vertical upright configuration.

I've seen these illustrations. Looking for a real image, wanting to know if the 4 modules (batteries) are in aluminum cell boxes like the FX modules or "raw" and without casings or?
