When will we get the Windows Mobile Zero App?
« on: February 02, 2016, 05:42:08 PM »

Ok so I am busy buying a 2014 Zero DS (shop floor demo model with 1256km on the clock) but don't see an option for Windows Mobile OS phone !?

Anyone know whether zero is working on a Windows Mobile version of the App?

Not everyone owns a crApple Iphone or AngerDroid phone you know.... :-)

I wouldn't hold your breath. The last update to the iOS app was on 9th July 2014. It could do with a bit of polish, especially around units and currency. Otherwise, it works. Perhaps one of your friends or family have an old iOS device they can give you? There must be millions of them abandoned in drawers and cupboards around the world... [emoji4]

From your time compared to Pacific coast time, I am guessing that you are somewhere in the Mid West.
If in the U.S., you can pick up a brand new cheap Android phone for well under $100. I am using a
Samsung Vibrant that I stopped using as a phone several years ago as a dedicated device for my FX.
You should be able to find something easily for next to nothing. I have it mounted for constant viewing
as a second dash. I would not wish to do this with my "daily driver" phone.

The device only needs Bluetooth, WiFi, and a touchscreen. You only need minimal sullying.

I was an OSX and then Linux nerd but I have a Windows 10 Phone now (older Lumia 930 on insider programme) and it is very good.  Still a bit buggy as it is a beta, but the UI is miles ahead of android in terms of usability imo, and i've owned plenty of those.  Never owned an iPhone though.

Doubt they will ever make a windows app qorw as they arent updating the iOS or Android ones.  Just get an android phone or iPod touch from a friend or relative, guaranteed they will have plenty gathering dust in draws.
