Great news, The thing I love about electric bikes, they are ready to go..
now you probably needs just little service (brake fluid, little WD for everything.. and to check the belt condition)
ride safe!  :)

Hi, you are totally right, that one of the reasons I sold my FX2014, took me ages to get the USB and software for maintenance (motor calibration),
and then the low option for any repair of some hard to find parts or replace,
I love the product but Zero needs to be more helpful, its not easy to calculate every km we do so the charge will last
and its not cheap buy, look at Zeroland at youtube, the same with him, the service is very important for vehicle.

I think that its very good to learn to try. knowledge is power  8)
I would stay away from on-line firmware updates, there is nothing to worry :), worst case you can ride with the sport or eco mode, and try again later  ;)

Hi Richard230, have you succeeded?
I had a fx2014 the Bluetooth connection was little buggy, and its changes from phone to phone
the hardware is different from each company..
For me most of the time I had to put the bike in paring mode then go to Bluetooth settings & connect manually to the bike,
then open the app and connect to the bike from the app, as long the app is running I had connection, if I turn it off the all thing again..
its needed to be flexible (if the app cant connect to move to Bluetooth setting and then to the app)
This is my exp in Android.. any Iphone users out there?  :o :)

Hi,
What about top speed? is at the max? (139kh)
I noticed with my FX15, from time to time I did "Motor calibration" with DVT software.
Then the bike return to normal power + range + top speed.
The dealer probably do it if asked with Zero software, and what are the temp the bike is?
at the winter there is some loses of power because the lithium.

HI  :)

I had some experience with my FX2014 (two battery packs)
the reset or soft reset didn't fix it so I disassemble
the pack and unplug the BMS (with about 20pins black connector)
for few sec and plug it back, then charged the pack to full
and it worked like new..

For my opinion belt is the best if its possible, less moving parts (Front and rear sprocket)
But you do need some tools to replace it (mine had lock-tight in it)
What kind of off road?

And Welcome,
There is plenty of reading to do here.
I have Zero 2015FX with almost 50,000K Great motorcycle.

Parts, Mods And Hacks / Front brake disk - looking for replace part
« on: August 29, 2021, 02:34:55 AM »
Hello,
I am going to replace my front disk (ZERO FX 2014- Nissin 2 piston hydraulic, 240x4.5 mm disc)
maybe someone knows about a model that its possible to install not from Zero?
its possible to make the bike stop in less distance with better disks?

Thanks! :)

What about buying upgraded Sevcon and program it to run without the MBB,
I mean, correct me if I am wrong, but I think its possible to program the controller for basic motorcycle drive, like E-bike..

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Re: Zero FX Rims for Tubliss
« on: August 11, 2021, 11:05:38 AM »
HI
I would want to put tubeless tiers on my FX 2014 too, I did some option search, there is unofficial way
to make the rims support tubeless tiers and there is a way to put rims from FXS (and then fix the brake & license tiers size change)
Good luck
Let us know how its going  :)

Thanks DonTom, Great review' from good to bad to good to bad  :o :o

About the torque Zero uses for the bolts, every bolt that I disassemble had some kind of blue lock tight
So for my knowledge that what makes it hard to take off..

Hello everyone  :o
I want to buy a backup charger, I am just want to make sure I got the information right,

I read at : https://electricmotorcycleforum.com/boards/index.php?topic=8940.0 from: MVetter (Thanks man!) about kWh

"2.8kWh short brick = 22Ah
3.3kWh short brick = 26Ah
3.6kWh short brick = 28.5Ah

5.7kWh FX (2x short) = 44Ah
6.5kWh long brick = 52Ah
7.2kWh long brick = 57Ah

9.8kWh monolith = 78Ah (comprised of 3x 3.3kWh short bricks)
11.2kWh monolith = 88Ah
13kWh monolith = 104Ah
14.4kWh monolith = 114Ah"

And at https://zeromanual.com/wiki/Unofficial_Service_Manual#Cells

2013-2014 Farasis 25Ah
    Discharge                                               Charge
Cell          Continuous    Peak (10sec)    Max Burst    Maximum
25Ah    4C (100A)    7C (175A)    400A    1C (25A)

So at the order site:
(evcomponents.com is the cheapest with shipping to my country)
Battery Type  Litihum-ion
Number Of batteries In Series  28
Nominal Voltage of each battery  3.65
Amp Hour(Ah) of Battery Pack 44Ah
AC Input Voltage: I need 220VAC there is two options:
90VAC-256VAC and 192VAC-256VAC any one knows the difference? (build, life time..)
I got the order right?
About the activation without the OBC, I will add a button in the bike..

Thank you!

(I tried to get answer first at: https://www.electricmotorcycleforum.com/boards/index.php?topic=8298.msg105582#msg105582)
