I was also looking at those same bulbs.  The 5730 is a very bright SMD.  I did some measuring and the housing of our turn signal will accept a bulb with a max length of about 1.5", maybe a tad more, so it will be interesting to see if this bulb fits.  Please keep us posted.

FYI, I emailed the seller regarding the length of the Ebay bulb you provided a link for and the seller replied that it is 2.08" so I don't think that is going to fit in the turn signal housing.

Thanks for the links Arcadia.  The problem I see with the bulb in your first link is they are clear and we need an amber bulb for our turn signals. The base is also a BA15S so you would need to file off one of the pins to get it to fit in the socket.

Sorry about that... try this one maybe (2 for $1.54 with free shipping):

I had one fall apart right away, so you may want to order an extra pair.

Alrighty then. Got the bulbs from china today. Pretty good quality. Really good quality for the price! Bam Bam was concerned about fitment. They are long enough to touch the lens. They will hold the lens about an eighth of an inch away from the body of the turn signal. All I did was push the lens into the bulb and re installed the screw. Done. You can overcome the spring tension of the bulb holder without much effort. You can also relieve the spring tension by bending the tab back a tad but I didn't see any need to. The bulbs are BRIGHT but you'll still need an LED flashing relay. I just mounted the rear bulbs for now and I'll live with the fast flash till I get the flashing relay. For 10 bucks It's WAY better than stock.

I am having good luck with these bulbs but they do require a resistor inline.

Any automotive parts store I’ve visited has better relays for this purpose that what you all are listing on AliExpress or Amazon.

I think I bought mine at Autozone.

It’s okay to buy these things, but expecting them to be reliable is wildly inappropriate. Quality is ensured by solid supplier relationships that ensure accountability. AliExpress and Amazon are not good at that. They just drive prices down. Amazon’s review system is manipulable.
