I see your points about watts.
But…
EVSEs are set in amps, the J1772 and type2 standard restrict the power based on the amperage capability of the cable.
The main fuse of the house and all calculations for diversity are based on amps,
It doesn’t matter what side of the pond you’re on.
In the Tesla, 10 A gives you 10 mph range, and 30 A, 30 mph range. Per hour
And Maths isn’t that hard.

Great thanks , when the charge tank arrives I can ignore the charge watts as I always think in Amps  ;D

Hi all

I keep seeing YouTube videos showing the use of the charge tank and the onboard charger used together.

But for the European/Uk users is there a defect in the Zero app as it looks like it calculates charging watts and charging amps with 110 volts?

Parts, Mods And Hacks / Re: PP and CP control on a type 2 charger cable
« on: October 23, 2022, 10:11:10 PM »
This is a very interesting thread, I was going to comment on the use of a 680 ohm resister between PP and PE but luckily read it all again and realised that the SR/F only has 3kw 13A chargers per phase.

I’ve seen both the onboard 1.3kw charger and the 6kw charge tank for the DSR used together and wonder if they could be joined for 7.3kw 32A charging, obviously with at least a 4mm2 cable and 220 ohm resisters.

Anyone had any experience with the DSR charge tank?

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2012 and older / MX motors , Perm and Mars

I understand that the extreme MX version of the bike had the Perm motor, however after finding the specs of the motors I’m confused that the Perm was considered more powerful.

Here the Perm 132
http://www.thunderstruck-ev.com/Manuals/PMG132curve.pdf
Has a 48v rating of 4.75kw

But the Mars and I assume was the 0708
http://www.thunderstruck-ev.com/Manuals/ET-R_big.jpg
Has a 48v rating of 6060W

Not pun intended but what am I missing here?

Does anyone have a before and after picture using these Pro Taper Evo Adventure bars?

For the SR/F I've tried:

GoCompare via website (no results available)
MoneySupermarket via website (no results available)
Confused via website (no results available)
Devitt via telephone (cannot find the bike)
BeMoto via telephone (too risky to have it parked in London, despite anchor)
BeSure via telephone (no results available)
Carole Nash via telephone (no results available)
Lexham via telephone (£945, fully comp, must use disk lock or chain at all times)
 Wicked Quotes

So who did you end up going with?
Just had a quote from Principle, but they are £100 more expensive than my current 1200cc bike!! WTF

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Real life millage

It's a typical newbie question but having done the sums a zero DSR 13 stacks up in cost over maintenance and fuel but only if it does the miles

Would a DSR 13 manage a 20 minute / 10 mile back lane ride followed by 50 mile highway ride on one charge.
I have the ability to use a charge tank charger at work for the return journey.

From  what I've read and heard it would only manage the freeway leg of the journey,  is that true.

Thanks
