Experts:
I've found a 2013 FX 5.7 at a dealer. It has less than 200 miles on it, and is prestine. They want $9,999 for it, which seems excessive to me given that its soon-to-be 3 model years old. I've seen a few 2015 models with low miles for near that price. But, none are local. So, before I pass, can anyone confirm or deny my assumption that $9,999 for a 2013 FX 5.7 is overpriced?
Thanks in advance.

if it's at a dealer.. it's over priced (haha).
just a guess, but 2k of msrp would seem reasonable to me. closer to 2500 and it would sell quick! (just my opinion)

I paid $5395 for my 2013 with 98 miles on it from a dealer - just a couple a months ago. That is excessively overpriced. Look at ebaymotors.com and do a search on all years completed sales of FX's no 2013's have sold for more than $6300....
Run away from that deal - If you want a 2013 for that much I'll sell you mine for that price and it has new batteries, new motor, LED Dot approved headlight, off road LED Rigid Industries lights, hand guard protectors, two high speed chargers and all LED lights (brake, signal etc).

All:
I'm not sure this info will be helpful for anyone, but the dealer that has the 2013 is Team Powersports, 9008 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC. I've been back and forth with them through e-mail, and they aren't budging on their $10,000 asking price - stating that "they can't sell it for less than they paid for it." I imagine that means they will be sitting on that 2013 for eternity.

Just for infotainment, the Canadian dealers are selling the 2015 fx 5.7 for $12470, which translates to $9593.78 US, might be worth a look if shipping was decent

I paid 10k+tax on a 2015 demo unit with 180 miles.

7.5k 2013 (kbb suggested)
8.5k 2014 (kbb suggested)
This for the 5.7 ...
No clue where KBB is getting it's pricing as I have yet to see these bikes going for this price at a dealer :/

You need to talk with Harlan. You won't find a more knowledgeable Zero Dealership.
Some of the best customer service I have ever received, and, I did not even purchase my Zeros
from them. Not sure if his name links to his information, but, it is Hollywood Electrics.

Thanks all. I'm on the other side of the country though, so I'm a little worried about shipping/inspection/etc. issues - particularly when I have some dealers relatively close to me.

We need an east coast DC Electrics!

I'll second that.

hybrid Pedals in Arlington would be a good one. They specialize in electric bikes (I bought 3 PEDEGO's from them this year) and they really understand the technology. They even sell the B-52.

We ship bikes all the time. Just shipped two bikes to Hawaii this week. They are built to be 50 state legal so I don't see why you would have any issues at inspection.
