Title: Woodstock in his finished glory
Post by: JaimeC on May 18, 2016, 01:59:22 AM
Woodstock is my 2016 Zero S 13kWh.  Snoopy is my 2013 BMW C650GT

Hi and congratulations for you bikes,

I noticed that Zero motorcycles had an orange reflector on the fork, even the ones sold here in France where they're not a requirement.
I suppose it makes sense since they're imported from the US at very low volume, but I'm not a big fan of them aesthetically.
Do you know if they come off easily?
I don't see them on Doug's purple bike, so I guess it's feasible.

I didn't remove them, and I also never noticed that my bike doesn't have them. Not sure why, but I'm sure my bike never had them.

I'd imagine they're applied the same way the tank emblem is, with double-sided tape, and I'd bet you can remove them the same way, with dental floss. A little alcohol would remove any adhesive residue the tape leaves behind.

I just gave mine a bit of a wiggle and I'm fairly convinced they are mounted with tape. Gonna leave mine on though since the bike itself is orange anyway.
