Avoiding the skunk stripe on the SR
« on: February 09, 2015, 07:32:36 AM »

I have had to ride in the rain a lot recently and I got tired of getting road grit all over the back of my jacket, and then all over my topbox when I added the rack. I inserted some thin plastic sheet into the gap. It's really simple, the hardest part is sourcing the plastic and cutting it.

Nice mod!
Hopefully it blocks most of the dirt.

I'm sure it does. I did the same but used rubber from a bicycle tire tube to fill the gap.
