Warranty registration / Fuel for Life?
« on: April 26, 2016, 11:23:35 AM »

I was wondering if we must register our new bikes with Zero for warranty, or if this was something the dealer took care of?

I can't find anything on the Zero website marked "owners resources", even though there is mention of this in the USB based manual.

Also, anyone received their "Fuel for Life" Visa card yet?  I was just thinking what kind of time there was around that, as I wouldn't mind a new laptop. My dealer didn't really know much of anything about the "Fuel for Life" deal, and I'm worried they haven't signed me up for it etc etc.

I don't recall explicitly registering, but I am registered. You can just ask your dealer to be sure.

If you navigate to the page footer from the home page, there's a hyperlink called "Owners" which leads here:

I haven't received mine yet, but I heard from my dealer (Hollywood Electrics) it would be 4-5 weeks. I don't think I had to do anything further as they did the warranty registration at the time.

New laptop sounds nice!!! Not sure what I'll get - maybe some side bags and a top box for the bike?!

In the US (maybe other countries?) if you bought a new Zero in April you are promised a pre-paid Visa card of up to $960, ostensibly to cover the cost of the electricity your bike will use over its lifetime, but really, just as an incentive.

This is the first bike I've had when I haven't considered putting extra luggage on it.. it's perfect, just the way it is ;)

Also, I need a Surface Book for work.
