Post by: TheNorwegian on December 20, 2014, 08:15:06 PM: Just learned that Carpoint.no (the dealer in Norway) is selling the Zero SR 2015 for 145.000,- NOK (complete, registered ready to drive). That's $19 681 USD! (So $2336 USD more than in the US!)

Usually motorcycles and cars are heavily taxed in Norway, but for electric there are no taxes.

I donÂ´t think there is tax on Electric vehicles in Europe, but there is a country VAT when the bikes enters Europe.
ItÂ´s a import tax/VAT of a kind.

Correct. Not for electrical cars either. So there are Teslas everywhere (And that's not a joke).
