Title: Hitting some twisties, riding to work, and charging
Post by: benswing on April 29, 2016, 07:00:19 PM
Riding to work and hitting the twisties! Just got a new Sena 10C camera & bluetooth communicator. Testing it out on a brief ride. Check out the cherry blossoms (it's late April 2016), the sneaky place I park at work, the super-fun road nearby, and how I charge at home.
Beginning - Riding to work
1:35 - Top secret road to my "private" parking spot
3:10 - Hitting the twisty road!
5:05 - more twisties
6:15 - Charging at home

Not anymore....that road is about to look like the George Washington bridge after a Chris Christie lane closure now that you've told everyone about it! Haha

Nice video... I sympathize with the pot hole ridden twisties...lots of those near St. Louis...plenty of twisties near STL without pot holes too though.

Hello,

Nice video, man! I enjoyed watching it. The commentary was entertaining as well. Glad the 10c worked out for you. I have to comment that you are brave for posting your home area and work entrance on the YouTubes :P

Cheers,
pinaero

I enjoy videos like this, seeing the beast in its natural habitat. Wish the road surfaces didn't suck so bad for you.

Nice! Hopefully you get a lot of interest from students bringing a piece of technology to school every day.

Aside: What garage timer are you using there? Do you recommend it? I bought a simple mechanical one which is a little weird to work with.

Thanks, guys!

That is not a garage timer, it measures electricity use,  although that company doesn't display the info online any more, I used to track all my electricity use and check graphs to see how my bike charged.  I may get the TED device (The Energy Detective).

I like the secret parking spot!
I bet it's easier to get away with it with a quiet bike.
