I have a speedo-healer on my Goldwing and have it set a nudge high so I won't speed in school zones.

So, would changing the number to 1862 or 1871 make a change in smaller increments? Or, do these changes adjust something else?

For those interested, I found "1872" is a more accurate reading for the 2013 S speedometer

My factory setting was 1972, so I'm wondering if 1772 would be in error the other way?

I have a lift big enough for my gold wing, I just use it.

My 2013 S is on the recall list, and I was afraid this was going to happen. At least now I know what to expect.

So how fast were you going when it shut down?

I grabbed something at work. Not sure what it's called, but the label had the words, Teflon and dry on it. I used it sparingly.

Okay, so which numbers adjust the speedometer reading? And, which way do you make the numbers go to make the speed more accurate?

This may be a no-brainer, but my take bag zipper has been a little rough, so I sprayed some dry lubricant on it and now it is very smooth.  Just thought I'd share.

I've had my 2013 S for about a year. I got it new and just turned over 14,000 miles on it on the way to work this morning.  I too, have noticed this phenomenon.  It's oddly comforting to know it's not just me!  For me, I'm not overly concerned about it.  My bike is on the recall list, so I hope having my firmware updated takes care of it.  My bike has never quit running, so it's just kind of a nuisance.

I live in Texas and am waiting for my dealer to get the necessary cabling to make the connections. I received my recall notice in January.

If you have at least a 2013 bike, it's my understanding that the motors are sealed.

I called Zero.  They said, 27mm.

I have a 2013 S.  What size socket do I need to get for the rear axle nut?
