Looking for a extension cord adaptor that plugs into your bike? I have a 2' one of these that I keep wired on the bike and just use any extension cord:

I used this one from monoprice (via amazon)

The right angle female end fits perfectly and sends the cord flush against the front of the battery box. I have it zip tied in a couple of places on the front and then tucked in between the fairing and the battery on the left side. I also enjoy the ability to use a normal extension cord anywhere I might end up.

That looks pretty handy. Thanks for the link. Given a choice, I prefer to buy from Amazon than from eBay. I find it curious that the 6-foot length costs less than the three-foot length. ???

I bought a couple of different sizes from Monoprice. I have several long 14ga cords, with the computer style plug to fit the bike, that I use in fixed locations so I don't have to remove the short one that's on the bike. Those cords can reach across a car garage. And a short (I think one foot) adapter cord that I carry under the seat in case I had to use a standard extension cord somewhere.
Monoprice has everything in cords that I think anyone could want.

SwiftSam,
I installed that power cord into my bike and really like this solution. I have extension cords in place in my garage and at work and can now connect the bike easily in a few seconds without crawling under the bike. The L connector is perfect.
Thanks for sharing that link.

Awesome, glad it's working for you as well as it is for me. $5 upgrades that make a big difference are my favorite things to find out about.

Here is a pic of my relocation with the new power cord... super nice this AM to just plug in the extension cord at work and not crawl under the bike. I added a tie wrap to the top corner bolt of the battery enclosure to hold the plug in place.

And here is my recharge parking spot at work.... notice our 25KW solar roof in the backdrop.
