Citicoco changes - 1 by 1!
« on: January 09, 2024, 10:22:24 PM »

Okay, there was a little clearing, just dry enough to turn the bike over:

I added helpful notes to the photos - I hope?

Where do they hide the battery pack?

What do you mean?

The small stock one goes under the seat (where the lose cable is). But the two new large ones that are being shipped from China, one will go in front of the stock one (you see the huge foot area, very useful under the seat!), and the other will go where I have today taken off the rear seat (ie just in front of the new topbox).

While that is "high in the air", I figured it's no higher than a pillion's bum (and a pillion weighs way more than the battery). So I think it will be fine (as long as I don't come off the bike!!).  ;D

Another reason why I ordered both batteries in metal cases. To protect them against falls, to a degree.

I guess I was expecting to see a more rectangular box than the battery container shape under the seat.

Yes Richard, the ordered batteries will both be rectangular shape. I can't now recall the measurements, but here some photos of what the Chinese manufacturer sent me before he sent them off:
