Title: 2014 Zero S 11.4 - Bad Battery Package
Post by: Shoe2013 on February 04, 2021, 09:09:48 PM
Last November one of the two battery package failed on my Zero.
The cost to replace it was more than $7,000
That would have been almost half the cost of the bike.
If I bought the new battery package and the other one died within the next year, or so, it would not be worth the money to keep it.
I signed the title over to dealer and told them to do whatever the wished with it.  :(

That's the price of replacing the entre battery pack. And a little higher than anyone else has been quoted.

Parted out, it would be worth a bit, too, since the motors and controllers are actively sought on the secondary market, not to mention the limied plastics which we wear through in normal use.

Hello

Is the defect caused by water or Freudigkeit? 7 years is not an age for a battery!
