Hosted using firebase here https://zerong-a5759.web.app/ Fetches data for last 20 days as is. You can play with the properties and graph types to get something visually working.

And here is source code for those interested https://github.com/hanscappelle/zerong-webapp Including the php script that acts as a gateway for CORS reasons.

Wait what, it takes 230V? So just a 3x230V system? The ones I've seen all required 3x400V...

Energica / Re: MyEnergia App not in App Store anymore
« on: August 24, 2023, 04:52:23 PM »
Back in 2021 somewhere it was also gone and I reported it to my dealer that time. When it was back in the app store my dealer told me. So I would just report it and hope for them to fix the issue. Not much else we can do.

Quick message about this Home Assistant integration I just published to get data from the cloud into your HA.

It's a first version and it's also my first integration so it's not perfect yet. For example it currently only makes a device for the first unit number of the response. Ideally it should make multiple for people with multiple zero motorcycles registered.

Also ATM it's all just a sensor, no classes added yet.

Project repo: https://github.com/hanscappelle/zero-motorcycles-integration

only on git so far, looking into how to get it into HACS

Energica / Re: Periodic drain to 0% required on 21kw batteries?

From my understanding the older models would prompt you to do so. Haven't seen that myself since I never owned one.

On my 2021 21,5 kWh model I've never been prompted to do so. I've seen other messages but never to ride it empty. So I don't think it's still needed. Otherwise the prompt would still be there.

Apart from that I believe it's a good idea to do it once just to get a feel of what happens with the bike in that state.

Energica / Re: LPR - Cooling Fan Constantly Running?

Plus it would wear out the fan.

Do you get the same issue if you try again? What firmware version do you have?

You could see if a reboot of the system helps. Press mode and menu button at the same time for 5 seconds

Do the 2 top most red lights on the edge of the dash light up?m those indicate TC at work so that would be a simple give away

Energica / Re: Power/Speed Between Ego/Ribelle/Esseesse9
« on: November 29, 2022, 07:08:57 PM »
For this to work you 'd have to reprogram an SS9 to run the Ribelle firmware. Besides the challenge in doing so without help of Energica themselves and the risks involved it's also very illegal in most countries since your papers list 80 kW.

It you really want 107 kW trade in your 80 kW model would be my advice.

And in comparison this is a better charge curve started at 75A or 24 kW where battery wasnt that warm to begin with

I think I need another video on this subject 😂

Very curious myself if Experia performs any better. They did claim am improved battery cooling design...

This was probably the last video I made on charging temp, got more on my channel

Nice those chargers with graphs. We don't have those here in Belgium. I can plot graphs from BLE data though ??.

It would be useful in your case to know battery temp. Not just the color of the icon cause that only turns red at 40 dC. That's also possible from my apps or just the ble data.

I say this cause it's perfectly possible to ride like high speed or highway and heat up battery to 30 dC or so causing the bike to throttle soon after starting a charge. For example below graph is after highway first charge.

For myself on 2021 SS9+ the first charge I can often keep it above 20 kW if I don't charge for more than 20 minutes or 50% of capacity. I typically aim at 30-80% charges. Starting below 30% will also always throttle before reaching 80%.

I've literally done it once in 20.000 km the last year and I have no SOC issues. Estimates are still reliable.

I think letting it charge up to 100% periodically is more important. I do a lot of fast charging on the road (to 80% at most) but also at least 3x a week at home to 100% overnight.
