General Discussion / Re: Electric Motorcycle Owners Map

I made a map with Zeemaps that allows users to add their electric motorcycle to a worldwide map of other riders:
https://www.zeemaps.com/view?group=939336&x=8.461561&y=20.545427&z=15

Go to the link above, click "add" and enter your information. I hope people put their email so other users can contact them.

Enjoy!

When I click on the link, I can't find "add". I just get a map and a lot of names.
Try here:

Dan,
DS, SR and EVA are already in the legend on the map as a choice. You are free to go add your entry to the map yourself:
https://www.zeemaps.com/electric_motorcycle_owners_map

So let me rephrase, again:

What other PRODUCTION ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLES THAT ARE NOT ALREADY ON THE LEGEND AS AN OPTION would members of this forum like to see on my Electric Motorcycle Owners Map?

OK, let me rephrase, since the title of the map is Electric Motorcycle Owners Map:

What other ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLES do you want to see on this legend?

I'll add that now.

Can we indicate which new models that people would like to see?

Can people let me know what other electric motorcycles they own?

Brian,
I know it's going to be a long recovery, but you're doing awesome, and you're alive. We miss you on the forums and appreciate you coming back on here to update us.

Glad we could all help out a little, and I hope you can at least fine times during the day to enjoy things around you a bit.

Take care and heal well my friend!

Cool! I hope I see them there. I "might" be up there for some reason or another :)

Looks like you're missing the top bar. Try a PC or your phone. I don't know anything about Apple devices.

You should see this

I don't see an add button or link. How do you add yourself to this?

Go to "Additions" and add marker.

Many Thanks to Frodus for this nice initiative. :)

You're welcome!

We're now up to 637 people! That's awesome. I have no electric motorcycle, but I'm leaving my name as #1 :)

Not SUPER new. the Sur-Ron has been talked about for maybe a year or so on the bicycle forums.

WOW, that sucks! I like them (not the one close to me because their manager doesn't hire competent people, nor have a good return procedure that takes under 15 minutes).

They just built a lot of these, and now they're going out of biz.

At least there will be sales!

Parts, Mods And Hacks / Re: Installing IXXAT to controller

At EMF-Power.com we use these:
https://www.adafruit.com/product/3122

I had something like that for my last build but this time I wanted to try something different. I suspect your water resistant solution for the programming connection is also far cheaper than my MIL spec water proof solution. I have had bad experiences with moisture / rain on the controller and the amp seal connector so I went this way.

Do you have a link to the connector used for your amp seal side of programming? My connectors are about ~$16/each side >__< But they feel solid.

I used to use 3-pin connectors (switched to 4-pin). They're Delphi Metri-Pack 150 series.
https://www.waytekwire.com/manf/45/DELPHI/&sc=19&Series=150-Series?gclid=CjwKCAjw2dvWBRBvEiwADllhn7B8CpqajEAdbZiATv63kJTso6EXKpond7AYW3HIs7Snx7tlPe1kghoC0LMQAvD_BwE

How many conductors do you NEED? I have a ton of 2-pin male-side connectors I ordered wrong that I can give to whomever wants em. I'm low on the 3-pin connectors.
