Well they are ahead of Lightening and Mission! I am hoping they get a dealer on the east coast soon.  Would like to check one of them out.

Yeah, I follow Chargepoint on Twitter, and they unveiled a new partnership with BMW and a couple states to fund more stations.

They had the Energica bikes parked on their display stand and talked a lot about them.

Hopefully this'll influence Zero and everyone else so that L2 charging becomes a standard feature.

They also have DCFC but it is the CCS Combo plug so unless you live in California you are pretty much screwed. In NC everything is CHAdeMO.

Well, not Lightning, since the Canadian distributor claims to handle them too (and Brammo):

;)

As far as Mission, my esteemed (at least I hold my opinion in high esteem) opinion is they're history.  Wish it weren't so, but, that's how it looks to me.

One of these days I'm gonna get Richard to read my stuff first.  You know.  To get the facts straight lol.

DCFC is better. Move the big heavy charger equipment off the bike. Why carry 20+lb of charging equipment around with you all the time?

Absolutely true. But what if the option simply isn't available, as it often isn't nowadays? I'm personally on the fence about getting the CHAdeMO adapter for my SR; I'd love the extra flexibility but I'm concerned that a lot of the charging stations aren't actually compatible. And before I'm shell out $1800 for a badly overpriced charging adapter, I'm going to need to be SURE it's going to work for me.
