Title: UK Insurer?
Post by: Jerome3 on May 11, 2015, 02:23:54 AM
Hello everyone.

Who do you insure your Zero with in the UK?

I'm about to renew my existing policy and hope to add a Zero soon. My existing and the other insurers I've asked seem to have difficulty with 0cc.

I test rode a 2015 DS, S and FX in Holland and Germany a month ago. Annoyingly the SR wasn't rideable - 'the parts were supposed to arrive last night', but wow what fun! I love the familiar milk float sound which soon gets lost in the wind. Torque talks. Magic carpet. It's all true :)

My ICE now seems so noisy.

My 2013 Zero-S is insured with Bennetts.

Bennetts for me. I would also recommend you renew online via topcashback. This will save you money.

Thank you. I'll give them both a call.  I just tried Hexham online and it quoted £11,007 for an S! Could be operator error :)

Mine's around £200 fully comp.  Unless it was £20,000... think I'll just check my bank balance!

Hi Jerome
If you are thinking of importing a bike into the UK make sure that Zero are prepared to honour the warranty in the UK and get that in writing.
