Mission Motors Lawsuit
« on: December 31, 2013, 03:43:43 PM »

There is a lot of interesting information in this article concerning Mission.

"Mission Motorcycles was founded by Ip and partners Mark Seeger and Andrew Ng this year, according to the lawsuit."

Hmmm.

Seeger and Ng were involved in the reinvention of Mission, when it was renamed from Mission Motors to Mission Motorcycles. The guys that we met when we were there have gone on to greener pastures.

But damn, that was a fun test ride. :D

I thought there was no renaming - that Mission Motors and Mission Motorcycles were distinct entities.

My Zero dealer is named Mission Motorcycles.  They are a large multi-brand dealer located in Daly City, just a block from the southern San Francisco city limits.  They have had this name for over 20 years.  I still get confused when I hear Mission Motors, especially as they are based in San Francisco.  I wonder why they decided upon that name for their business?   ???

Perhaps they're from or sited in the Mission District in San Francisco?

That makes sense.  The above article, in its entirety, was also published in the business section of my newspaper.
