M1GP "hollywood electrics class" is the first electric motorcycle grass roots racing effort ever, as far as I am aware, and some of the engineers who designed the bikes are participating! How cool is that? Word is the electrics took 2nd and 3rd in the "open" class against 125 and 250 cc bikes. Awesome!

That is really cool, elmotofreak. If Zero's racing development program is successful, maybe they should offer a production racer for sale next year. ;D

Really like that picture. (One of these days I'll have to take time to watch one of these races). The guy on the yellow '13 S 11.4 is Jeremiah Johnson, who rode OffTheGrid's 2012 S ZF9 in Daytona (which Terry and Jeremiah turned into a race bike in about 36 hours) to win 4th place behind the German team in the final round of the 2012 TTXGP.
