Reviewing the Livewire after 15k miles
« on: August 21, 2022, 07:16:14 PM »

I recently uploaded my thoughts on what it's been like with the Harley-Davidson LiveWire after 15k miles in one year!

I see it as zero emissions...not a particular brand  ;)

Did the place you got it continue on as a Livewire dealer as opposed to a Harley Davidson dealer?

The part where you leaned it over standing to the side was interesting.  Pretty informative all in all.

No, they no longer sell Livewires, but still provide support for the next 9 years via obligation. They still have their charger as well, and service all the Livewires in the area.

I've caught a lot of your videos.  Matter of fact your tire changing video made me think it wouldn't be too bad to change my DS tires.
It's gotten better but still a workout.

Glad you have something that works so well for you.  If HD would have made the bike $22-24k to start with they would have sold great (needs a 3-6kw AC charger though).

My family is from just south of you.  I've been car sick many times going over those mountains as a kid.  Beautiful though.

If you and Steven do a ride together be sure and post some footage.

Thanks! Steven and I are linking up this Friday to do a ride! Not having a 3-6kW charger isn't too bad now that CCS is starting to get installed in most places. The livewire would be pushing 600lbs had they put a L2 charger on it no doubt.

Whereabouts are you?

I'm in and from Atlanta.  If I visit I fly into Roanoke and they are about an hour south with a few up north in Natural Bridge.

With his Experia on order I figured he'd ride the hell out of his Ribelle.  I guess it's still a little early for the leaves to change and fill up all the mountain roads with the picture tourists.

Yall ride safe and enjoy the weekend.
