Hi,

With v49, my bike has been running perfectly for the last 4000 miles.  Recently needed new tires and got v51 at the same time.  Now, I have two significant issues.

Overall, my range is dramatically reduced.  I normally could easily take ~120 mile trips through the local mountains with >10% remaining; I can't make it any longer, about 100 miles is about the limit.  Initially seemed like the rear brake was dragging, but after some riding that seems OK now.

The major problem now is that the bike doesn't know the capacity of the batteries correctly.  Last night, I was riding, needed to stop for a charge in the mountains, and on the way back, the SOC got 'stuck' at ~55%:

At this point, the dash still indicated 100 miles of remaining range and 52% SOC, but you can clearly see that I was  basically empty.

The following charge was also interesting, in that the SOC decreases as it charges:

Any ideas?  Would an all statistics reset help?

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Absolute Maximum DC input voltage to QuiQ
« on: November 08, 2016, 01:12:43 AM »
Hi,

For traveling/remote/emergency charging, it would be very helpful to be able to charge from another vehicle.  In my case, this would be from my Volt, which has a battery voltage between 330 and 390 VDC.  The QuiQ is rated for the normal 85-265VAC; 265VAC may cause a peak of 374VDC internally.  Has anyone already opened theirs up to see if it safe to go any higher, or done this before?  Worst case, it would appear that as long as I verify that the donor vehicle voltage is on the lower end, it should be OK.  Only thinking about the QuiQ's because I want to limit potential damage to them if possible.  Thoughts or better ideas?

Jon

Has anyone seen this?  I'm at about 1500-ish miles on my 2016 SR.  Tonight when I was plugging it in, I noticed (panicked) the odometer is a little off, by most of a Megamile. (It reads 899,157). Several of the app values are way off too.  Haven't done anything other than use the built in charger and quiq; and the official phone app to look at things.

Any ideas?  Any way to force a reboot other than turning off the key?
