I was on a pretty normal ride today, a couple of long easy runs. No hard acceleration. I was trying to run down the pack and recharge to see if I could get my balance back down. It was 60mv after I disconnected from storage in March (after learning about the new recommendations). I was going over the logs from today and see a bunch of these:
07943 04/09/2017 11:15:11 Discharge level 051 AH, SOC: 51%, I: 2A, L:3640, l:3641, H:3663, B:023, PT:027C, BT:032C, PV:102211, M:Bike On
07944 04/09/2017 11:15:11 Discharge cutback 87%
07945 04/09/2017 11:15:11 679A
07946 04/09/2017 11:16:11 Discharge level 052 AH, SOC: 50%, I: 75A, L:3585, l:3627, H:3610, B:025, PT:027C, BT:032C, PV:100687, M:Bike On
07947 04/09/2017 11:16:11 Discharge cutback 85%
07948 04/09/2017 11:16:11 666A
07949 04/09/2017 11:17:11 Discharge level 053 AH, SOC: 49%, I: 52A, L:3593, l:3622, H:3617, B:024, PT:027C, BT:032C, PV:100897, M:Bike On
07950 04/09/2017 11:17:11 Discharge cutback 84%
07951 04/09/2017 11:17:11 654A
I do see that I have had these all along, seems strange though. Has anyone else seen anything similar?

I think this is normal. See my thread on a similar topic.

It appears in your log this is called "discharge cutback", where on newer firmware it is "Batt Dischg Cur Limited".

Ah, my MBB log shows it like you state:
07914 04/08/2017 10:20:48 Riding PackTemp: h 16C, l 15C, PackSOC: 61%, Vpack:104.138V, MotAmps: 0, BattAmps: 2, Mods: 10, MotTemp: 24C, CtrlTemp: 15C, AmbTemp: 11C, MotRPM:1581, Odo: 5979km
07915 04/08/2017 10:20:48 Batt Dischg Cur Limited 679 A (98%), MinCell: 3666mV, MaxPackTemp: 16C
The BMS log shows the "Discharge Cutback" message at the same time.

Hi,
So far I was never able to get a BMS log out of my 14'S. Only the MBB log. By the way, does anyone know the meaning of: "L:3585, l:3627, H:3610, B:025"?

I was assuming L=low cell mv, H=high cell mv, B=balance voltage? Not sure on I. The B number does match what my phone shows for balance mv.
