Hi,
I would like to replace my headlamp bulb with something brighter, a friend gave me the Philips Moto Vision 9003 (H4) - 9003MVS1.
This is the info on the metal ring around the bulb:
Philips 9003 MV HB2 DOT H4 MV 12V 60/55W
See picture.
I searched the headlamp replacement info "Unofficial Manual" but this type of bulb is not listed... has anyone use it?
Thanks.

Any advise? this will be a perfect time to replace the headlamp bulb... we had 70 degrees a couple of days ago... now down to 28... for 4 days... so an ideal weather to work on the Zero. Thanks.

MacStructures: Maybe the info in this thread will help - "Whiter - Brighter & Safer Headlights For Your Zero"
(started Feb 28, 2017).
I installed one in my 14SR.
The install was relatively easy, reasonable cost, and I feel it's an improvement over the stock bulb.
Hoping to not high jack this thread - with winter approaching with fewer riding days, maybe also add LED driving or fog lamps. If I remember correctly, there's several threads on this as well.
Please let us know how it goes.

H4 halogen bulbs are generally interchangable.
I'd try it.
Don't touch the bulb tho. Read the package, follow the handing instructions.

LED bulbs save energy, but require voltage conversion so have more bulk for the extra components. Lots of discussion in this forum.

I will install it this week.. post results and/or problems. Thanks.

Done... will go for a ride tonight ... hopefully an increase in visibility, I don't remember how "bright" the stock bulb was, Really easy to replace, and a detailed explanation by Whiter - Brighter & Safer Headlights For Your Zero.
Thank you all for your help again... great place to learn and share projects.
