Energica / Re: GPS Type/Mounting on Experia

Y'all have the classic GPS while I love my Beeline moto! I used it on the whole trip to Vancouver and back and it served me well!

Energica / Re: At the Bike or at the Machine?

I've experienced several "Charger Fault" errors when using the mode button to stop a charge session. Usually it goes away when I key the bike off and then on again, but I didn't know if that was normal.

I always have this little fear in the back of my mind that I'm going to stop the charge and the charger will brick the bike.
I've seen this where Energica just don't like the charge session being stopped by the charger for whatever reason.

Energica / Re: Experia with 10k km.

Thanks for that feedback, Motoproponent! I had been wondering how much the Experia's thermal performance had improved. Sounds like substantially but not a total cure. My 2020 SS9 13.4 had terrible thermal throttling down to 12 kW and even as low as 8 kW in the Sacramento area (temps of 105+ deg F to be fair), and I've heard the 21.5 bikes could be even worse.
So far I've seen the Experia charge go all the way down to 9kw on DC on a really hot day(about40c) and really pushing the battery all day. I recently came back from a long trip and I saw it dip down there a couple times. Most of the time when it's in yellow, it charges between 12-16kw, it's really a sliding scale based off how hot it's running. I was also hoping it was much improved. It is definitely better with the improvements being the bulk of the battery hitting the wind and a lot more time between charges helps a lot. I would also like to know what it would look like with battery cooling.

Energica / Re: Experia Clean Mode

I believe clean mode unlocks the cleaner dash screen to the left of the default.
It's a acquired taste, I don't like the small battery icon myself.

Pro Italia.  My Experia is in CA, getting final inspection/assembly/etc.  It should be getting shipped to me very soon.  So close :)  Have you heard anything?

From what dealer? I hope they shipped more than 3! I'm definitely getting one of those.
Picking mine up on Tuesday after work, I can't wait!! I've got VIN 40!

From pro italia or another dealer?

Since I wanted it sooner than later, I paid at Calmoto and arranged to pick it up at their service center in SSF.

VIN #40..!!?? Or is it #140..??  I believe they're up into the mid 100's now....Mine is #029 and I got mine back in mid February. There was a chap on the bookface group who had not long ago taken delivery of VIN #120.

Smithy.
I'll look at the bike tomorrow to check, if it isn't 040 then the DMV has the wrong number.

Energica / Re: Bullet Brake belly up
« on: June 05, 2023, 02:34:22 AM »
Oh man, from the title I was afraid the company is no more! I've had an issue once back in 2020 on my Zero SR/S when someone hit it and the bullet brake needed to be replaced.
I've got great experience with the company and I believe it should be a factory standard on all electric bikes since they cannot be put" in gear".

They're probably just doing the final checks as it's probably as assembled as it is in the AU video. The cases don't come assembled and the windscreen along with a few other small things I think.

Big news, a shipment of Experias arrived at South City and they're being assembled! Looking forward to mine in a week to two when they're done!

I was "told" by my dealer, that my bike is "on the water" as of last week (2 containers full, not sure what models).  He's expecting to get 3 experias from that shipment, I'm the first on his list.  So, maybe early June?  I sure hope so.

Where are you located?  I'm really hopeful for all of us, soon.   :o

WOW, you ordered over 1 year ago and still do not have the bike?! Geez, how are they telling others 12 weeks???  That's about what I was told.

My order is officially dated May 6th 2022. I'm surprised others jumped the line here somehow. I was told others had dates earlier than mine.
Yep, every update for order times I had to email, call and pry it out of them, they had not once called me to say we have an updated timeframe. It was originally end of September, November, before the end of the year, first couple weeks of January, first week of February, then mid March and now the latest is late April early may. I'm getting quite tired of this.

When did you order?  Doesn't make me feel that mine is coming any time soon, I ordered early this year...

Have any more Experia’s been delivered in the US after those deliveries in February?
I'm still waiting on mine, they keep pushing estimated dates back :(
