Bump, and still for sale.
I am not on these forums that often, so email me at
baustin (at symbol) austin-ent.com
I wrote it like this because we live in an age of AI robots scanning the internet.

I will reply to this post when it is sold.

I am fairly new to these forums, and I didn't know if this was the right place to post parts for sale...

From my 2018 SR with 22,000 miles on it, my ignition wires were cut from bad wire routing.

I cut and spliced all of the wires, and works great now.  See photos for electric multimeter verification - continuity with the key turned to "on".

The key switch is part number 45-02692, retail for $88, plus tax = $95
The triple clamp is 22-08174, retail for $167, plus tax = $180
Three ignition keys included.
Retail cost is $275.

I ordered new parts and installed them, so this is leftover.

Selling for roughly half price, at $140 plus shipping.
Due to the weight & size, I would guess shipping to be $20, so $160 total.
I take Zelle, PayPal, or Venmo.

While not a lock at all, these hooks thread right into my existing threaded bolt hole on my 2018 SR

I bought a gel pad on Amazon

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KSMCFOO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

...then paid an upholstery shop to install it

The one order from Amazon is sufficient to do front & rear sections of the seat.

Big improvement

Thanks for this input here.

The constant leaning and weight on my hands isn't working out for me either.

"I had the high bend bars on my FXS and the cables were fine."

@BamBam, for your FXS, I'm not sure if the wiring length would be the same for my '18 SR.

Was the front brake line long enough?  I see that the "high bend" has about 7" rise.

I went and bought used handlebars for $25, with about a 7" rise.

What is the size of the brake line, as I would probably have to buy a longer line?  What is the size of the brake line banjo bolt?

Also, I'd have to splice all of the wires, which is not long term reliable.

I've figured I do need about a 7" rise to get the weight off my hands.

Anyone with an S/SR used "high rise" bars (about 7")?

I replaced with a larger windscreen.

Steve at Zero Motorcycles of Orange County (California) set me up.  Sorry, I do not remember the brand.

I am new to this forum, and I didn't see a separate "Classified" section

Like new condition, removed from 2018 SR with 3,000 miles

$200 new from dealer, now $65 plus shipping from zip 92110 (San Diego)

jroqueca,

Thanks for the great writeup.

I simplified it down.

I did buy the exact same SADE E-48 mounting kit, but I used that kit with some old Oxford soft bags I had leftover from my old ICE bike.

I drilled two holes in the SADE mounts, then bought a longer bolt for the existing seat mount

The bolt you need for this mod for the seat is
M8 x 1.25 x 80mm long

I then used two screws and spacers that come with the SADE kit, into the existing tapped holes in the Zero SR frame

In total, you need to drill four thru holes in the SADE kit (on each side, they are 2.3 inches apart, I used calipers), and buy two screws.

Thanks again,

Brian
