Sevcon calibrator
« on: April 22, 2019, 03:16:29 AM »

Has anyone used the sevcon calibrator to change settings on a Zero? My bike is out of warranty and I wanted to start playing around with it. I was going to rent the calibrator to change throttle response and acceleration. Has anyone messed with these and how did it work out?
Thanks,
  Don

I believe if you do not have an IPM motor, the Sevcon DVT tools, etc. should work fine, but for IPM motors it is my indirect understanding that there is custom firmware that makes this process (alignment and other controller configuration) at least delicate and possibly proprietary to the dealership tooling.
