Richard230:
According to the last paragraph of the "inflation reduction act neglects e-motorcycles" article, page 21 of the November 2022 issue of the American Motorcyclist , the total number of H-D LiveWire and LiveWire One production to date (I assume to the end of the 2022 summer quarter), since 2019 is 1,648 units.

Oldun:
Thanks for that info, I did not find that anywhere else 'till now.

Richard230:
H-D's LiveWire company is not quite meeting H-D's original sales projections: https://www.revzilla.com/common-tread/livewire-cuts-growth-projections-as-del-mar-production-is-delayed

princec:
I imagine if it were only $20k at launch they'd have sold 5x the numbers.

Cas :)

AsHperson:
It's kind of a pain seeing them like this in a tough spot. Nowadays the Livewire One compares pretty well to ~$15k electric bikes. With the Del mar coming in over that and the One not selling much, they're trying to recoup as many costs as possible along with the expensive battery pack from Samsung. I wasn't around checking out electric motorcycles when Zero and Energica first came about, but this seems tough with high costs bringing high prices.
