some time ago i wrote that my charging indicator didn't work.

It didn't and still don't indicate while charging, but rather than making a big fuzz out of it I did just let it pass, however last week my indicator left side (on the dash) stopped indicating, leading to several times when i forgot to turn of my indicators, a somewhat dangerous situation. I thought that the Zero had bulbs, but no, there's no bulbs to be seen under the dash, so i guess it's LED's, which i can't service. I doesn't seem to find at DIY fix, there 's no bulb to replace. Does that really mean that I have to have a dash transplant? or do any of you out there have a fix for lost indication on the dash?

This is why you shall not wash your Zero:

while washing my bike today i discovered that it has got serious rust pitting on the left stancion. Any one having experience with that? I thought that the suspension parts was of high quality. I also discovered that my sidestand is sometimes hitting the rear swingarm, tearing just a tiny bit of paint off.
The problem with the stansion is;

1) THOU SHALL NOT RUST!!! THOU SHALL NOT RUST!!! THOU SHALL NOT RUST!!! THOU SHALL NOT RUST!!!

2) Eventually it will tear the fork seals, leading to oil seepage and piss poor performance.

Hi there fellow Zero drivers.

any one experienced a pronounced knocking from the front brake? Therese is nothing when breaking lightly (normal driving) but when dropping the anchor (spirited driving) (deaf and blind pedestrians, strategi dogs etc.) the knocking comes after Hald a second of breaking, and gets fast progressive worse as the speed drops and the disc heats up.

Cant find any cracks in the disc, but its rather scarry.

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Dash charge light faliure

Hi
my ZF12,5 SR has stopped lighting the charging light on the dash. When i plug it in, it flickers red a couples of times (flash flash pause flash flash flash- indicating a can bus error) and then nothing, no chargelight goes on. It charges ok however, i'll like to know if anyone else has or have had the same issue.

Bought a 2015 SR today, thats so much the oposite to my lumbering dieselbike.
